The Bison herd at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site is the number one draw to the park and is enjoyed by all who walk the trail to see them.  However, few visitors realize the herd’s significance.  Join Claire Kolkmeyer, Park Interpreter and Bison caretaker, as she uncovers the Bison’s historical and pre-historical connection to the park and reveals some of the unique features of the herd.
