Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati area is known across the globe as the Ordovician capitol of the world. Trilobites, brachiopods, crinoids, and bryozoans, to name just a few, abound across our limestone landscape. Join Cameron Swalbach, Paleontologist at the Cincinnati Museum Center, as he describes the morphology and life story of some of these `organisms, and explains how/why our area abounds with Ordovician fossils from 450 million years ago.
