This month’s lecture:
More Than Big Bones: 12,000 Years of Human Life at Big Bone

Archaeologist Jeannine Kreinbrink will explore the history of Big Bone Lick State Historic Site. Humans have been present in this Big Bone Valley for at least 12,000 years. Learn about the Native American cultures who lived and visited the area from Paleo to historic times. Bring your Native American artifacts as archaeologists will be present to identify them before and after the program. Sponsored by Friends of Big Bone.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 at Boone County’s Scheben Library in Union. The program will begin at 7:00.
