Join James L. Mallory, Vice Chairman of the Lewis and Clark Trust, as he discusses the impact of the Lewis & Clark Expedition on the United States and the world. Beginning with Thomas Jefferson’s dream of western exploration, Mr. Mallory discusses George Rogers Clark, the 1803 and 1807 excavations at Big Bone Lick, the importance of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, and why history is relevant to today’s society. Also included will be a presentation of the items in the Friends of Big Bone’s Lewis & Clark replica trunk.
