Big Bone Lick State Historic Site Receives 1.1 Million for Park Improvements


Big Bone Lick State Historic Site was allocated 1.1 million dollars as part of a $50 million State Park improvements bill passed and signed by Governor Bevin in April of this year.  A ceremony was held at the park on October 31 officially recognizing the money the park will receive and use for upgrading various park infrastructure facilities.  The ceremony was led by Kentucky State Parks Commissioner Donnie Holland, with several other state and Boone county  officials, park employees, and Friends of Big Bone personnel in attendance.  Some photos from the ceremony are provided below.
